What is the Roanoke Valley LP?
We are local folks who believe in personal liberty and personal responsibility.
The Roanoke Valley Libertarians is the local Libertarian Party affiliate committee in the Roanoke Valley area (in particular, Roanoke City, Roanoke County, Salem, Vinton, and Franklin County).
The Libertarian Party believes in individual liberty and personal responsibility. We believe that governments at all levels are too big, too intrusive, and too expensive. We are working to reduce government to its proper constitutional role: to protect the rights of the people, and otherwise leave us alone.
Meeting Schedule & Location
Come meet like minded people!
Business Meetings are held at the Hollins Branch of the Roanoke County Library on the first Monday of every month. Social time and refreshments are served at 6:30 p.m., and the meeting begins at 7:00 p.m.
Socials are held at various local resturaunts & member homes. Please contact us to find out about our next social to meet us in a more relaxed atmosphere.
